I-5 cleared up enough so Mom was able to make it up Friday night. Yeah! I had TWO WHOLE days where I got to sleep in, we went out for birthday breakfast, and I got some new clothes. I couldn't decide on one of two sweaters (my birthday present), and Mom let me buy both. As we left the store, she said "I went over my budget, but you are worth it." "Mom! Why didn't you tell me? I could have picked one, you were the one who said 'get both'!" "But you are such a great daughter who got me pajamas and let me watch Patrick being born."
So ladies, if you let your mamas watch you give birth, you will eventually get TWO clearance-priced sweaters from Old Navy. Not just one.

She also entertained the kiddos non-stop at Raissa's house Saturday night. All us parents are gossiping, drinking wine, and ignoring the children. Then we look around and see Mom reading stories on the couch with all the babies in her lap. "Your Mom's awesome!"
I know. She's the best.
