This is what happens when your child picks his own clothes. We even changed clothes because he wanted different ones on. Originally, my son was wearing a cute yet casual play outfit of a gray tee-shirt and navy fleece pants. Later he wanted: A navy and yellow striped polo, orange corduroy pants, a red and blue jacket, and leg warmers (they are called babylegs, baby accessories for yuppie parents) with skulls on them. That is one battle I elect not to fight. My child has walked out of the house in a red train shirt, purple (like royal purple) running pants, a grey plaid jacket and green crocks. I give up. But here is one trick. When they get old enough to use a little logic just say, "today is mommy's day to pick your clothes, tomorrow will be your day." It works sometimes. Please note I said sometimes.
