Depending on the person, I'm either still totally tiny or getting gigantic.
Either way, I'm hitting the home stretch. At 27 weeks, I'm officially in my third trimester. That's approximately 13 weeks to go, give or take a few. The only complaint I can muster is that my muscles are really feeling the strain of a growing boy. My back gets pretty tight, and I'm grateful for a wonderful chiropractor to keep me moving around. Especially at work. I've also had a moment or two when I could really sympathize with ladies who don't know about round ligament pain. The round ligaments help hold in your reproductive organs. Therefore, they get a bit stretched by a growing uterus. Sometimes, they hurt like a sonofabitch. It's difficult to walk or stand up straight. If I didn't know it was totally normal, it might worry me as well.
Although I wouldn't go to the ER for it.
In the last few days, Patrick's movement has really kicked up a notch. One day I'd feel bits of light poking here and there. The next he was moving furniture. 3am seems to be a favorite time. And I love every poke, prod, and push.
So I'm still feeling good. I still really like being pregnant. The idea that this belly will eventually be a baby that Kevin and I are responsible for ALL THE TIME still hasn't quite sunk in.
Let me add a big ol' smooch to everybody who's asked about where I'm registered, am I having a shower, and what do I need. I'm so touched and feel very loved and supported. I also love free stuff, so anybody with excess baby gear getting in the way at home, bring it to my house.
I spent all day hanging out and drinking water on Sunday, and I'm feeling better and much more relaxed. Panicking comes so easily at 2am. Tuesday I'm hoping for a touch of sun to get some weeding done while I'm feeling ambitious. Maybe I'll even buy a few annuals for color. Hope my back will take it.

I think you happen to look great! But the most important thing is how you feel about your "weight gain". And I say that in parenthese (sp) because it looks like you've gained just enough, but not overly so. You look beautiful!
