I would love some recommendations for good parenting books. (This is a repeat of a Facebook request). I'm slogging my way through Positive Discipline, which I like but the writing is a touch dry. I just feel like I'm missing something with Patrick. I'm trying to understand where he is coming from, but then I wonder if I'm doing all that I could? I also feel like I underestimate his abilities because his language skills are slow to develop. The right questions need to be asked, but then I go, "Hey, he's recognizing some letters." Or all the sudden, he likes going pee in the potty (65% of the time).
Anything out there you guys have found helpful?

You have time for books on such things!?!?!? I'm jealous.
Raising Children to Think for Themselves... hands down the best parenting book I've read. Cheers.
I read a book 29 yrs ago and still remember the title because it was so awesome. It's called The Key to Your Childs Heart by GAry Smalley. It might be out of print but available used on Amazon? A really great book.
