Socks at 5

AM, that is. Yes, I made my darling husband get up at 5am to buy socks at Fred Meyer. There were some hard core shopping bitches at that store. We observed more than one hissy fit relating to carts, merchandise (present or otherwise), and general crowd discontent. We also found car seat covers (2for1) and games (2for1 also!), so tonight, Kevin and I will be playing Trivial Pursuit, 90's Edition! Then back to the house for coffee and showers, then off to Target, The Mall, and Costco. Kevin will be MIA as he watches Alias Season 4, I have new fluffy socks and flannel pants, but Danica, alas, does not have a new puppy bed. They were sold out. So maybe next week she'll stop sleeping on my feet. We'll tuck in for the rest of the day. I'll make some soup and apple pie. The candles are lit. It's raining outside. Not a bad day.
