One hot mamma

In the kitchen, that is.

I work this weekend, and Kevin is starting tech week for Ain't Mis. So working to eliminate eating out/take out/random grocery shopping (by my husband), I prepped today. Not only do we have tons of goodies like frozen pizza and mac & cheese for my sweetie, but I did some MAJOR COOKIN'.

Here's what's stocking the fridge:
1. Cheaters Lasanga (make with frozen ravioli, jarred sauce, frozen spinach, and cheese)
2. Chicken and Apricot stew from Rachael Ray
3. Turkey chili in the crockpot
4. Turkey meatloaf from Rachael Ray
5. Left-over Margaritaville chili/lime shrimp that we had over pasta for dinner

And if I get very ambitious after work, then I'll make the Butternut Squash and White Bean soup from my Vegetarian Pregnancy cookbook from the library. I would have made it tonight, but I didn't have another big pot.

Could I register for a dutch oven for my baby shower?

Jenny,

I was writing you an early happy anniversary note when I realized I hadn't read your blog for a while. I'm blown away. Your dad is celebrating, and my parents are dancing a jig. I have that warm feeling that creates a lump in my throat. I'm so glad for you...so glad. Your mom's birthday is in late August (so is mine, so is John's, so is your great uncle Jim's - he'll be 81). It's a great time to be born. I'll be checking your blog and keeping up. Your brothers will all be uncles! Amazing - I remember you all as little kids. Okay, now the tears are filling the eyes. God bless you all...husband, dogs, baby. Love, AJ
