Kevin's parents were in town this last weekend. They went to "The History of America" at TLT, and it's over so if you missed it, too bad. But Ain't Misbehavin' is next, and Kevin says the cast sounds amazing. Check out the link and write it in on your little calendar. But they were also here to celebrate Kevin's birthday last Friday the 13th! So we had an amazing dinner at Dana and Tim's, but they made Grace to all the cooking so she can "help pay her way." Those two don't cut an 18 month old ANY SLACK. We had chicken enchiladas, margarita frozen salad, spoonbread, and key lime pie for dessert. Yum-mo! It was a great evening--good food with even better company.
Sunday was "Late Christmas" with Kevin's gaming group and entourage. They do a gift exchange, but since December is always crap for scheduling, we did it after football Sunday (go Hawks!) I didn't play this year, but Kevin got gorgeous whiskey tumblers from Milton, who shops like a woman. And that's a huge compliment. I always head home thinking how lucky we are to have such an amazing group of friends.
Today is my last day off of my eight day stretch. I treated myself to Starbucks with a giftcard, bought NARS Orgasm blush (it's their best seller), bought groceries, and took the dogs for a walk. I'll make stew for dinner. Maybe I'll make Kevin hang out with me instead of playing on the computer tonight.
