Work was good! Yeah! I don't know about anybody else, but I had a lovely day.
Sybil is staying at our house this week. Not only did she take me out to a lovely Thai dinner after work, but she took my dogs for a walk. THAT is one hell of a houseguest. She's just wonderful, and I'm pretty tickled she's staying with us. The easy company is fun. Like college! Minus the heavy drinking and great sex with inappropriate men.

With the next three days off, I'm going to tackle some Christmas decorations, take care of necessary paperwork, and help Mom plan CHASEgiving so she'll quite stressing. As if Kevin and I are actually going to allow her to do major cooking. One time we had to go to the store three times for cornbread mix because she'd forget about it until it was black. It would have been four times, but Kevin had the forsight to buy an extra box of mix during the third trip.

That is SOOOO funny because as soon as I read "that sentence" I told myself I MUST comment....until I read that I couldn't. So now I'll comment about Chasegiving. It's not nice to make fun of people who are "kitchen challenged!!" Besides - how boring it would be if I the only thing you could say about my cooking is "She is - by far - the best cook in our entire family!!". Then I'd have to cook you dinner when I came up to visit rather than take you out for dinner!! How sad would that be?
MMMM cooking I have forgotten how much I love the Meyer cooking! :) Tell your hubby hello and that we updated our pictures on my blog.
And this is why I gave her a clip- on timer for her birthday last year. See you on Chasegiving - I can't wait!
