Kevin and I both worked New Years Eve. But I got holiday pay! Neither one of us were looking to dance the night away. We were happy if we stayed awake until midnight.
We spend the evening with Steve and Katherine Schubert, at "The Gaming House." I mostly ate, gossiped, and sat on the couch. Other people ate, gossiped, and played video games. We were an ambitious bunch. We watched the fireworks at the Space Needle (very unimpressed), and I made Kevin leave 10 minutes later because I was tired.
Such a short entry doesn't do justice to how much fun we crammed into four hours.
I did get lots of hugs for parakeet! That was awesome!
