So I took my monies to Fred Meyer at 8:30 this morning. Today was their "Bring your old pots, buy some plants, and we'll pot them for you...for FREE!" So I have fushias, petunias, and...something else...can't recall. I promise to feed them and water them. Regularly.

Then I sniffed around the Nordstrom perfume counter. Ever since I heard this great interview on NPR with Chandler Burr, I've had fun playing with perfume. I tried lots of stuff, had different scents all over my arm. Kevin was the biggest sport and gave his critique, even with a cold. We both loved Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue. I really want him to like Bobbi Brown Beach, but he's refusing. But I think I might attend this event at the Hotel Murano. Somebody from a fragrance house will speak, there will be samples, and lunch! Sounded like a great Mommy-Alone-Time event. And it's a good price. And I'm not working! Rawther excited, really.
