I have to work today. And there are clear skies at 5:49am!
So sad for me. Hopefully, I'll get to go home early when I work this weekend. Although it's really quite naughty of me. After Kevin gave me the go ahead to buy curtains, I went to IKEA. Like Costco, it's hard to get out of there for $100. Usually we are successful. Yesterday, I was not.
And then there was Target. For curtain rods.
Raissa and I shared tea at Mandolin Cafe, then she was sweet enough to come over to my house, have a beer, and stay for dinner with us.
While working in the hard yesterday, taming the beast, both our hedge trimmer and chainsaw broke. I'm sure we didn't have anything better to spend $200 on. And we are definately upgrading the chainsaw.
We also decided on art for the fireplace. I wanted something full of light balance the dark fireplace. No boring flower or senic prints for us. So we are getting "Birth of Venus" by Botteccelli. Art-dot-com has great deals on framing. We only have to pick a size.

*chuckles* yeah - IKEA does have some kind of "but don't you really also _need_ this" draw going on...
Sorry to hear you have to replace your power tools. :( Stupid plants, breaking stuff you weren't done with yet.
I love Art.com, that is where I get most of my pic's anymore. I will go check out what "Birth of Venus" looks like.

We saw this art done by a young girl on the sidewalk in London. I'll send you a photo. AJ
