Hey Parents!
What do you do with a sick kid? Patrick has the trifeca going on: runny nose, cough, slight fever. Add lots of teething drool, and guess how cute I look right now! Overall, he's OK. Just a bit punky. But any good tips about comfort care, entertainment, or helping him sleep?

Besides what your doctor might recommend, one thing remains constant when Catherine is sick: I throw all rules out the window. So even if she needs to be rocked to sleep for much, much longer than normal just so she can feel better, I allow it. And no feeling guilty about it!

Drain as much snot out of the noose as you can with that lovely suction thingie.
Sleeping with the head elevated sometimes help, stick to pieces of wood under two legs of the crib.
Try to make him drink ...
This shall pass, only to repeat itself a few times over. Hang in there.
