Wearing out my son

This is a hard job. Patrick is quite difficult to wear out, and he has been since the beginning. This boy can outrun kids twice his age. His physical growth and skills are definately at the head of the pack (making up for the speech skills that are...not).

Tangent: Patrick sang "The Big Fat Spider" for me tonight while we were playing in Fiona's room. He also did the hand motions. This is the first time he's sung a whole song on his own. I don't know if anybody else would have understood it, but his Mommy did.

His latest desire is "walking." When we walk the dogs, he wants to push the stroller. Sometimes he wants to hold Danica's leash. He wants to walk up and down the sidewalks in our neighboorhood, pushing his blue IKEA cart. He wants to walk to the park.

After the last hour-plus walk, Kevin said, "I think we can leave the stroller at home the next time we go to the zoo."
