We had our first outing in the stroller today. When he was asleep, it was great. Awake, not so impressed. But that could have been because of the cool breeze, or the horrid diaper I discovered once home. And I had changed him 10 minutes before leaving the house! Guess I'll be getting used to that pattern. The dogs were happy for the short chance to run around, and made full use of their park time by rolling in lots of smelly spots (luckily they aren't smelly to us).
I got to sleep for two three-hour stretches last night! Then I dozed on the couch for an hour this morning and kinked my neck. Wish the chiropractor made house calls.
Kevin and I decided that a DVD player for the computer is the next necessary purchase. I don't want Patrick or myself to watch Resident Evil, and Kevin says a compromise doesn't mean I get my way all the time. Thinking ahead to the next three months as I learn to be mobile with baby, the ability for us to have quality private time at the same time will solve lots of fights.
I'm still being very spoiled by my family. My house hasn't been this clean since...ever. Kevin cooks for me even after a day of manly physical labor. Friends stop by with goodies.
And I just love being Patrick's mommy.

oh Jenny - I am so happy for you! How funny that you are trying to avoid Resident Evil and I already have a sitter lined up in Sept to go and see the 3rd installment! HUGS!
My chiropractor makes house calls ... exclusively. :)
