A day of nice things...

Kevin and I celebrated his new job at Herbfarm Cafe, new place down on 6th Ave. Fab! Definitely will return.

The weather is out of control. Sunny, warm, beautiful blue sky. I'm wearing short sleeves. Such a tease, and I know the wet cold will soon return. But I'm enjoying the delusion of spring while it lasts.

Patrick has been lots of fun today. Very smiley, exploring his toys in different ways, and clapping at the dogs. Plus, he went down for bed like a dream right at 7pm. Moms love that.

I had some lovely red wine, spicy chocolate, and I'm going to bed soon. Work tomorrow, but three wonderful days off to sustain me. Kevin's folks are baby-sitting for us this weekend, so nice! Hope Patrick acts cute so they'll do it again sometime.
