Would it be considered logical consequences if Patrick keeps getting out of bed, and the result is we both flee to Vegas, leaving him with the dogs (and Grandma)?
Probably not.
9pm and Patrick is finally settling down, after an hour of up and down. I knew we were getting somewhere when he stopped giggling and started fussing and whining. We did the right thing, kept being consistent and even tempered. But it sort of sucks.
I think part of it (other than his age and normal testing of boundaries) is not getting enough action at day care. And I've loved his day care. She's been great with him and us. But as he gets older, his needs are changing. He needs more variety and physical action. Hard for him to get it with what she has to work with and the other children in her care. But as we are coming to the end with my due date in site, I think we'll just stick it out. However, I am going to pick him up early tomorrow and run the hell out of him.
Like Kevin said, "We don't have a child, we have another Labrador."
