More about shopping:

I also bought two pairs of shoes at Payless ShoeSource. I haven't been to Payless since I was on my mom's paycheck (Hi Mom!). Back in the day when we didn't have any money, Mom wasn't very interested in the style ambitions of her children. So our shoes, like most of what we wore, were cheap. So Payless was the VERY LAST place I wanted to go as an adult with my own money to spend.

Until I saw these shoes on Molly's blog. Adorable. They must be mine.

So on Shopping Sunday, I tried them on. Perfect. But there was a teeny tiny flaw on the inner trim. Hmmm. No others to be found on the shelves. I sensed an opportunity for a bargin. Taking the shoes up to the counter, I pointed out the (for the sake of bargining) HUGE flaw to the disinterested 18-year-old sales guy.

"Would it be possible to get a discount?" Sure

"How about fifty percent?" Yeah.

Those shoes walked out with me for $7.50.

And these for good measure.
