I'm still a little paranoid about this pregnancy.
I second guess everything. Should I be showing yet? Is it a problem if I'm not? How should I be feeling? Is all that "stuff" normal?
But I'm able to get my fix very easily at work, yet another benefit of the job. While filling out my timecard today (called in sick the last two days thanks to a nasty cold that is finally getting better), I grabbed a doppler (used to listen to the heartbeat) and tried to find my little baby.
And I DID! The heartbeat was 147 beats per minute! As one gal said, "Sounds like a boy!"
In seven weeks, we'll see if she was right.

I'm glad to hear that the cold is getting better. We may actually be able to hang out soon. :)
I loved listening to the heartbeat, that's when it finally became real to me, but then again, I was never quesy like you have been so far.
It's going to be OK and remember when you aren't working you don't have to be a nurse, you are just nervous mother-to-be and no questions are stupid.
Hey Jenny,
I copied the photos of your dogs and I've started a file of Myers family photos. What a joy it is to be able to follow your journey into parenthood (I actually typed parrothead first!). Merry Christmas to you and all the West Coast clan. We love you. John and Jeany
