I am really proud of my husband today. He handled a difficult conversation with grace, compassion, strength, and courage. He was strong without needing to beat another person down. He was a good listener without being manipulated. He was firm without losing his temper. He used one of his core values, to always treat other people respectfully despite the difficulty of the conversation or the behavior of the other person, and demonstrated how it can be done in the face of adversity. He was the hero of the interaction. And he ended the talk with love instead of anger and guilt.
I have so much to learn from my husband.
