I'm working on the office.
This will eventually be the baby room. In the next year or so, if Kevin and I can get our act together. We are not know for the swiftness of our household projects.
The first step is getting all the crap out. I've found lots of interesting things.
Kevin saves everything. I knew this when I married the man. I was unaware that he saves empty DVD containers. When asked, "Why is this here?" The response is, "Oh, I forgot about it." Apparently he also forgot about the garbage cans we have for items like these. We also have boxes from electronic equipment as old as our marriage. I guess when these are placed on shelves, they magically become invisible to my husband.
Being a good wife, I did NOT throw away the comic books or baseball cards. But they will be going somewhere that does not inconvenience me. But Jenny, what about your stuff? Well, I throw everything away. Truly, I'll be a terrible mother who doesn't save any childhood art projects because they are in the way.
And don't get me started on the "costume box." It doesn't contain anything remotely beneficial to me, like a Zorro mask. But the black velvet cape has promise....
Perhaps the costume box isn't so bad.

A costume box can always turn into dress-up box for little kids. Endless free entertainment right there...
