So I took the day off work today.

I'll probably take the day off work tomorrow also.

This cold is nasty. I'm all snotty and sneezing. Not what mommies want hovering over their precious little newborns, even if the newborn looks suspiciously like an alien. Or a bird. Or a lizard.

And since I have more time off saved than Our Lord Savior Jesus Christ, I might as well use some of it for good instead of evil.

In between blowing my nose, I took care of some Christmas chores, baked spicy chocolate cake, wore out the puppies at the park, and made important email arrangements.

It's been a brooding sort of day. The kind of day where you pray a lot. For....whatever helps.
