I have found myself getting surprisingly embarrassed during this pregnancy as people ask some very sweet and touching questions.
What do you need?
Where are you registered?
Is anybody throwing a shower?
Do you have a theme?
One lovely girlfriend even asked what kind of present I would want. I told her that there was no way I could tell her what kind of present to buy. She laughed and said, "Of course you can!" This girl really does have the best attitude.
For somebody who LOVES getting presents, I'm very worried about the appearance that I expect them. Or that I want to tell people what to buy me. I just don't want to have bad manners.
So for everybody who has asked these questions, who have blessed us with lended baby items and fabulous hand-me-downs, and who have been so generous with their love and attention during this time, thank you so very much. We are touched and honored. In that spirit, I'll answer those questions.
I don't need much of anything, but hand-me-downs are always welcome. But I really don't need anything else with covered feet. Patrick might have club foot, and the braces wouldn't work with that style of onsie.
Kevin and I registered at Target. You can check it out online as desired.
A girlfriend is throwing me a shower. If I was so rude and didn't send you an invitation, forgive me. Anybody who wants to play with my girlfriends and all the moms (all four of them) is welcome. Emily is doing the food, so you know we'll eat well.
Our very loosy-goosy theme is sea creatures/tropical. More bright colors than pastels. My mom deserves all the credit for this room starting to look cute, with Kevin a close second. I haven't done anything except make decisions.
Forgive any "fo-pas." This whole pregnancy, I have felt so very blessed to be surrounded by so much love and support. The generosity has humbled me. Thank you everybody. I can't wait to share Patrick with ya'll!

It's okay to tell people what you want... honest. I think once upon a time you talked about registering for a crock pot because you were pregnant...
I still have three more invitations that we can send out, let me know.
I sent your gift to Lena's so it will be there for your shower. I wish I could be there in person, but my spirit will have to do for now. :( Have a wonderful time and keep up the blogging. I love reading about what you're up to!
