Note to Camille from her comment in the last post:
There is a pregnancy safe sleeping pill. It's called Ambian. I'm really hoping to get my hands on some my next appointment.
I was up for two hours last night unable to sleep. Songs from rehearsal running through my head. Then I was hungry, so I had a snack at 3:30am. And I know I won't get a nap today. Maybe I'll sleep better. Everybody says this is nature's way of preparing me. I am prepared, damn it.
But today is a good day. The lovely women in my life are throwing me a "Welcome Baby" party at Lena's house. All the moms will be there, and some good friends from out of town are sweetly making the trip north. I have goodies of my own to bring, will post pictures later.
Yes, need to post lots of pictures. Will post pictures of Patrick's room when it looks cute, not a mess.
Tonight is my final (for now) choir concert. Should be a great show, and I'm loving the music. Lots of "Americana" songs, interesting variety. Nancy, Cindy, and Jess (Dylan's lovely wife) will be there. My man is busy at work and will miss it, the only sad part of my day.

Have fun today! I'll be there in spirit. :)
And I'm glad to hear there's a pregnancy safe sleeping pill. What a relief that will be for you.
Another good, homeopathic, sleep helper is valerian root. You can find the liquid drops at Fred Meyer in the "granola" section. That's what my midwife suggested to me during Abby's 5 days of stop and go labor when I guarantee you I was having trouble sleeping ... it especially helps clear the head of day-to-day goings on and stresses ...
Oh, I remember those sleepless nights so well from the past, what, 6-7 years. Can't believe they're pretty much over ... except when the munchkins get their little respiratory issues and I spend the whole night listening to them breathe. I'm tired.
Thank you for the sweet and encouraging comment. I miss you too. :)
