Books

7. Lie By Moonlight by Amanda Quick (library) new.
Very fun, although the romantic tension wasn't very hot. But her books are a touch lighter on the wicked sex, and there's usually a mystery twist as well. This is the third "Vanza" book, although not a connected series. Just a similar theme and feel to the books. The other Vanza books are I Thee Wed and Wicked Widow. Both entertaining reads.

But if you are looking for naughty sex (in a novel) try Virginia Henley. I gave Mom one of her books to take to Mexico, more for Cindy since she always took them away from me during my summer visits. Naturally, I was too young to be reading them, about 12 years old. Mom started reading A Woman Of Passion. The naughty sex didn't start until Mom was about 100 pages in, then she needed to find out "what happened." I first discovered bawdy Virginia in 8th grade when I got mono. Mom must have been on drugs because she picked this up for me as a present. It was titled Enslaved. When she handed it over to my fevered self, I was casual. "Thanks Mom. It'll be nice to have something new to read." Inside I'm all, "Yee Haw! Now this is good reading." Couldn't make a fuss, because if she looked to closely I knew I'd lose it. Enslaved was the most educational book I've ever read, and Kevin should be kissing his mother-in-law daily for providing his wife such enlightening and informative reading material as a young woman. But check out her picture. She's a proper southern grandmother! But that Nana writes sex like nobodies business.
