We have friends

Kevin and I just returned home from a lovely dinner with Bruce and Mari-Claire (shit, I need to check the spelling on that). They are parents to the infamous Tolie, the escape artist husky. We finally joined them for dinner, and the food was amazing. Bruce did an brilliant pork roast, shitake risotto, spinach salad with home-grown veggies, and lots of wine. The timing was great, because tonight is my last boozing night for hopefully nine+months. So I enthusiastically drank a charming chardonnay and El Bastido Sangiovese. As I type, I'm sipping a limoncello. It's the last of the liquors B&MC brought back from Italy.

So thank you so much for a great dinner, wonderful conversation, and a delightful evening. And, of course, thank you for the presents! I love presents. Kevin and I were introduced to limoncello by his parents, who brought us back a small bottle from Italy on their last vacation. Surprisingly, the booze store in Tacoma carries it. Quite sophisticated for Tacoma. For anybody who hasn't tried it, you are in for a treat. This website is worth a peak, but it's avalible at most liquor stores. www.limoncello.com
