It's so much easier to handle the cold when the sun is shining. The house is brighter, the puppies get more exercise (and so does their mom), we all have more energy, and winter seems just a little less dreary.
Kevin's next show, Seven Year Itch, opens on Friday. Everything is going well and on schedule. My man's been working like a champ. He continues to essentually work two full time jobs for the theatre: Production Manager AND Technical Director. However, he only gets one salary. With the eventual arrival of the soon-to-be-hired Artistic Director, we are hopeful that his job description will be refined, allowing him to focus on the more important parts of his work.
The choir sings next weekend. The music is gorgeous, but the schedule from Christmas has been rushed and not so enjoyable. I'll be glad to move on from this piece.
Today I'll get some choirs done, write my Grandparents a thank you note, practice Brahams, and bring Kevin a special lunch at work. A good day.
